Join Textile Hive and become part of a living archive dedicated to preserving, studying, and sharing the global textile culture collection assembled over Andrea Aranow’s lifetime.
Membership offers access to Textile Hive’s living archive space, research and teaching collections, tours, lectures, workshops, community programs, member gatherings, and special collection experiences. Members can study textiles up close, connect with others passionate about textile and material culture, and help support the care, preservation, and continued activation of more than 50,000 textiles, garments, and design materials from around the world.
For individual members, Textile Hive offers two levels of engagement:
Community and Collector.
Community and Collector memberships are designed for individual members who want to support Textile Hive and take part in the life of the archive. These memberships offer opportunities to visit the space, attend programs, join member gatherings, receive tour tickets, access sales, and participate in the broader Textile Hive community.
Community memberships start at $155. Community membership provides an accessible entry point for engaging with Textile Hive through archive tours, community events, member programs, and early access to sales, including the annual bazaar.
Collector memberships are $500 and offer deeper engagement with Textile Hive through additional tour tickets, expanded collection access, a hosted event at the Textile Hive archive space, and participation in the Textile Hive Council to help shape future programs.

Institutional memberships are designed for schools, museums, libraries, nonprofits, cultural organizations, seeking access to Textile Hive’s collections and research tools.
Company memberships are designed for multi-person teams at brands, studios, companies, and organizations using textiles as a resource for design research, product development, inspiration, and material study.
